1. What information may be collected during your use of the App?
“Personal Information” is information about an individual that can be used to personally identify that individual. Examples of Personal Information include: name, address, unique device identifier, date of birth, telephone number, fax number, email address, and video/photo of an individual. Personal Information can also include Non-Personal Information that, when combined with other information, can be used to identify an individual. Some of the technical information that is automatically collected from your mobile device also falls under the category of Personal Information. This includes your unique device identifier (“UDID”), IP address, and identifiers for advertisers.
“Non-Personal Information” is information about an individual that, by itself, does not identify that individual. Some examples of Non-Personal Information include your anonymous Backup ID and in-game nickname, demographic information (age, gender, etc.), device hardware and software data, broad geographic information, App usage statistics, and purchase history.
“Financial Information” is information relating to payments and billing (e.g., account information, billing address, payment processing data). We do not collect Financial Information from you unless you voluntarily provide it—which we encourage you not to do. All financial transactions that may occur within the App are facilitated by a third-party payment service (such as Apple or Google). Your payment information is not shared with us. Please review the Apple and Google Wallet privacy policies to learn more about how our third-party payment processors handle your Personal Information and Financial Information.
2. How do we collect information?
We also receive Non-Personal Information directly from you when you create a nickname and Backup ID or make in-App purchases. You may be able to create a nickname within the App. When creating a nickname, please do not use your actual name, initials, or any other information that could be used to personally identify you.
